Yost Hearing

"Liliane, go get the cake from the kitchen," my mother commanded. I returned a few minutes later. "I couldn't find the cake." I reported. Everyone at the holiday feast exploded in laughter. I had mis-heard, again.

I was 46, aware for some time I had hearing problems. My mother was very deaf at 70. Hearing aids were of little use to her. Deafness is a family legacy.

I am now 75, have used hearing aids since I was 60. The technology has improved enormously! They are essential to my brain health; ability to drive safely; communicate by phone with the world; and live independently.

My kids say, "Thank you, Mom, for taking care of you! It allows us to live our lives more fully.”
